Noosa Oceanrider provides a taste of Noosa's Unesco Biosphere Reserve from the water. Whether you choose the original fast and fun Adventure Tour, a relaxed nature-focused Dolphin Safari, or witness the majestic beauty of the humpback whale during their annual migration, prepare for an experience like no other.

Take in the Noosa River and the National Park headlands, including the 20th World Surfing Reserve. You will soak up incredible views, spectacular scenery and iconic sights that cannot be fully appreciated from the land while getting up close with our aquatic wildlife.

A maximum of 12 passengers seated in six rows of two means that everyone gets a window seat and a personalised experience that only a small group allows. Our RIB boat is the same as the Navy, Coast Guard, and Water Police, reflecting its reliability and high safety standards. Your Captain Nathan has over 30 years of boating and marine experience, so you are in good hands.

DOLPHIN SAFARI

Nature focused tour suitable for most people seven years & above

Being the first tour of the day, the sea conditions are calmer, allowing for a smoother ride and better viewing of our Dolphin friends who know the Noosa Oceanrider well. The pace is gentler & slower, allowing you to absorb the beautiful Noosa Coast and catch sight of varied species of birds, turtles & rays.

Your tour starts with a relaxing cruise down the Noosa River and out around the Noosa National Park Headland, where you take in the spectacular scenery and sights, including Hells Gates, which can only be truly appreciated from the water.

We usually find our friends anywhere between the National Park and Sunshine beach. We will observe these beautiful creatures before returning to Noosa Marina.

ADVENTURE TOUR

Adventure tour suitable for the more adventurous ten years and above

Screams & laughter, fast, tight turns and wave surfing is all part of the Adventure Tour. Your Captain will also point out the main sights of the Noosa coast and, if you are lucky, sightings of dolphins and whales in season.

The adventure starts with a cruise down the picturesque Noosa River to the famous Noosa Bar; hold on as the ride begins once we are out on the ocean! Your tour takes you around the Noosa headland to Sunshine beach and back across Noosa Bar for a relaxing finish up the Noosa River.

WHALE WATCHING

Nature focused tour suitable for most people seven years & above

Breaches, tail lobs & pectoral slaps a breath-taking experience that is impossible to describe. See the Humpback whales playing in Noosa’s aquatic backyard on their annual migration.

Enjoy a cruise down the Noosa River and out off Noosa Heads, where we go in search of our friendly giants. A leisurely charter where nature is the focus both above and below the sea.
